This year's plan...

For the regular weekends of racing I am planning on starting off the season on Friday nights at Slayton,MN until Aberdeen starts and then racing at Aberdeen the rest of the season so that I can get National Wissota points. On Saturday nights I plan on racing at Huron, SD. On Sunday nights I plan on racing at Watertown, SD.

We will try to hit all the close USMTS races as well. Those are the fastest Modifieds on dirt and you are only as fast as the cars you race with. So whenever they come close enough that we can try and make the show and / or learn some new tricks, we go. Even though my engines range from 500hp to 600hp and the USMTS cars run about 750hp, we are definitely out motored in the heats but if we make it to the main the track is almost always super slick which means it is more driver and set-up. I can drive, that's the easy part, but I feel I need to learn more about set up and then I can run a lot tougher with the USMTS cars.

I am also planning on going to any and all NEXTEL Cup Driver charity events at dirt tracks that I can, same as the last couple of years. I am also sure that we will try and go to some WISSOTA specials in Brainerd, MN, Jamestown, ND, Rapid City, SD, Aberdeen, SD, etc.
